"... there is a requirement on the part of the WUSV for members to adjust their breed standards...According to the FCI regulations there is only one Standard for the German Shepherd Dog.  The Standard's sovereignty according to FCI regulations lies with the "mother country" of the breed.  For these reasons the GSDCA is requested to adjust the Standard.  These things are in flux.  The timing of the execution of this is entirely in the province of the FCI.  These requirements do not go beyond the breed standard.**

**That statement should clear up any misconception that OTHER requirements (such as the SV's Breed Survey and hip certification) are involved AT THE PRESENT MOMENT.       Bobbie
